When most young drivers get their first car, they're excited. They can't wait to hit the open road and have the freedom to go wherever they want, whenever they want. These young drivers are also the most likely to go out and buy "cool stuff" for their car that they don't really need. So, as parents of these younger drivers, why not provide them with all the "cool accessories" they need to keep them safe and ready for any situation!

So how do you become your own boss? Well I can tell you this, it won't come easy, you'll have to go get it. I don't know what position you have achieved in life, but at some point you will come to the realization that if you want something you'll need to go out and get it.

The reality is that some folks enjoy getting down on their knees and scrubbing away at their wheels with a toothbrush. What's more, there are people who actually want to change their own oil, swap out air filters and even tadd fluids to those enigmatic holes positioned all over their car engines.

I just got back from the Memphis International Auto Show. They had a wide selection of all the best cars and trucks available. I got to spend time in the Nissan trucks without being prodded by sales people.

But you're just so -- short track racing can really allow you to get carried away with yourself, and you forget -- even now, even last year, we would run 100 laps and I'd have the car torn all to hell down both sides and have to remind myself this is a longer event than you realize, and you've really got to preach patience to yourself and really rein in your emotions and your excitement because you just really want to get in there and gouge every corner, but there's just not enough race car to do that for 500 miles.

Select between automatic or manual: Select the type that suits your teen because both automatic and manual have their good or bad aspects. Go for the manual if you have the time to teach your teen how to shift gears or buy car type that he is most comfortable with.

Weather you're looking to operate a dog wash as an addition to an existing business, like a car wash or pet shop, or as a small stand alone operation you will need to establish the hours of operation. It is a pretty well accepted industry standard that Saturdays and Sundays are the most active days for the business. These are the days that the majority of folks will have off from work, be running errands, and be out exercising with their dogs. These are also the days that you may want to have the longest hours of operations. The early birds in your town they may be out and about by 7am with their dogs. For those that spend the day walking and hiking with their dogs they'll want to wash their dogs late in the afternoon or early evening.

For example, you can post on local websites or advertise in a local paper. If your expertise falls in the area of painting or handy work, make sure to stress that. Maybe you are good at running errands, cleaning houses, or bathing animals- stress that. Also, if you have any professional qualifications or education background, advertise that. While odd jobs might seem like something anyone could do, you really will be more likely to get hired if you appear to be responsible and trustworthy.
